The Noncommutative Schemes of Generalized Weyl Algebras
The first Weyl algebra over k, A1 = k〈x, y〉/(xy− yx− 1) admits a natural Z-grading by letting deg x = 1 and deg y = −1. Paul Smith showed that gr -A1 is equivalent to the category of quasicoherent sheaves on a certain quotient stack. Using autoequivalences of gr -A1, Smith constructed a commutative ring C, graded by finite subsets of the integers. He then showed gr -A1 ≡ gr -(C,Zfin). In this p...
متن کاملNoncommutative Orlicz spaces over W *-algebras
Using the Falcone–Takesaki theory of noncommutative integration, we construct a family of noncommutative Orlicz spaces that are canonically associated to an arbitrary W *-algebra without any choice of weight involved, and we show that this construction is functorial over the category of W *-algebras with *-isomorphisms as arrows. متن کاملNoncommutative Symmetric Systems over Associative Algebras
This paper is the first of a sequence papers ([Z4]–[Z7]) on the NCS (noncommutative symmetric) systems over differential operator algebras in commutative or noncommutative variables ([Z4]); the NCS systems over the Grossman-Larson Hopf algebras ([GL], [F]) of labeled rooted trees ([Z6]); as well as their connections and applications to the inversion problem ([BCW], [E4]) and specializations of ...
متن کاملProgram Schemes over Continuous Algebras
Motivated by the real numbers representation as lazy lists 4] a notion of continuous algebras was introduced in 9, 7] which generalizes both the ordered 15] and metric approaches 25]. Here we investigate the notion of program scheme acting on this algebras with a view to study notions of computability and complexity of real functions. A byproduct of the present and future work is to provide the...
متن کاملnoncommutative algebras
In this lecture 1 I would like to address the following question: given an associative algebra A 0 , what are the possible ways to deform it? Consideration of this question for concrete algebras often leads to interesting mathematical discoveries. I will discuss several approaches to this question, and examples of applying them. 1. Deformation theory 1.1. Formal deformations. The most general a...
